While not grabbing the headlines in recent days, tensions are still pretty high between South Korea and North Korea.  The recent activity has added tension to relations between the U.S., China and Japan as well.

Now, with diplomats from Seoul, Japan and the U.S. meeting in Washington, listeners can keep up with the latest developments from inside South Korea via streaming Internet radio stations.

For those in the English speaking world, the likely best option from directly within South Korea is a KBS World English broadcast.  There are a couple of streaming options that can be found at the KBS English Web site.  Listeners can also find updated news and information from South Korea on the Web site as well.

There are also large number of local stations in South Korea available, the majority of these broadcast in Korean.  A listing with links for their streams can be found here.
